Updates
I talked to John this week and he gave me the go ahead to open up the blog to anyone who wants to see it. I am kind of paranoid about the privacy and wanted to put up some pictures but he said not to worry about it. So coming up, a visit to John's Print Shop! (But it will be after I get back from Iowa next week) Love you guys! Beth

OK, OK, I'm finally on a blog. Will wonders never cease.
ReplyDeleteI've been unbelievably busy since Penland. Mostly travel, Puget Sound (gorgeous!), NE Louisiana (definitely NOT gorgeous) Ft. Smith, AR (ditto).
Lots of rain here last month. We have a little river that cuts through our property and the river was over our bridge three times in May! It's finally dried up enough for me to get in the veggie garden and start planting. I'm gettin' too old and fat to do that kind of work.
Haven't printed anything worth talking about but have projects in the works. I've been asked to send some images for possible inclusion in a book about letterpress but I don't have any "images." Just the real thing. Guess I'll have to get my photographer to make some "images."
Alex called and said he's off to Michigan to pick up his shop and visit Carrie. According to Alex, Carrie hit a jackpot of letterpress stuff very near her. Maybe she'll tell us all about it?
I'm working on acquiring a really big press. If it happens I'll let you know.
